I Love LOVE.
I am actually kind of obsessed with love. I love romance, chivalry and marriage. I like to draw hearts on things. I want to put framed pictures all over of me and my love kissing. At this point I don’t think I will grow out of it. I cry at weddings…HELL I CRY AT TV WEDDINGS. I have my dream wedding planned out on a private pinterest board. But here I am 31 Dresses always a bridesmaid and never a bride. I know it’s common to get married several times these days but I hate that. It breaks my heart for my loved ones who have had to go through this. I know it wasn’t an easy choice. If one thing can still be sacred in this world can it be marriage? So aside from wanting to lay around in my sweats, cuddling and watching movies with the love of my life, the occasional strike of loneliness and the struggle of raising your kids without help. The worst part is experiencing how some of the other women treat single Mothers. I have sat alone at my daughters sporting events while all the married couples I have known since grade school sat across the gym. Women will whisper and glare at me when I finally get to change out of my dirty ranch clothes and into something nice. Don’t be mean ladies. If you catch me looking at you and your husband I am just admiring the LOVE. You don’t realize the little everyday things you take for granted that another may want so bad. I like to see it because well I miss it.
I have sat in a women’s group listening every week to women discuss their marriages. I was just wishing I had their problems. Those problems are blessings because that means someone is there to have the problems with. Honestly if your family is healthy (mentally and physically) you can face all those things together. There is nothing you can’t overcome.
Remember not every Queen has a King…
Whatever I’m going to go draw some hearts on stuff…
